What it shows
The division of labour, stated by the record. Ninety-eight commits made the book; ninety-six carry a machine as co-author. This is one of the other two, and the only one that touches prose: the author, by hand, deleting two lines of workshop residue that every blind juror had flagged, at the page that could least afford it. The paths are withheld. The message is not.
